About the Italo-Canadian Club of Kingston

The Italo-Canadian Club is a reception, conference and banquet facility. We believe beautiful events can be accessible at any budget. That is why we remain one of the most affordable banquet halls in Kingston. Whether you are planning a small intimate affair or a large-scale celebration, we are the perfect choice for your special day. Known for amazing food, Italian hospitality, and a beautiful ballroom, we have grown since 1963. The original club building and the land we are on was purchased and built by the Italian community. To this day much of the work is done by our Italian volunteers. We remain dedicated to being a social center for Italians and Canadians.

This month’s recipe will be ravioli.

About the Nonnas

All of the Nonnas are Italy-born and over 75 years in age. None of them are professionally trained, but you can bet that the food they make will leave you wanting more.

“We are grandmothers, and we carry on our traditions from back home,” says Domenica Bracciodiete, a volunteer executive board member whose husband was a founding member of the Italo-Canadian Club.

It’s time to get cooking with the Nonnos!

The Nonnos have been watching the success of the Nonnas and thought they’d take a turn. These Italian grandpas will be teaching you how to make Italian sausage and polenta, while the Nonnas will also be there with a delicious dessert. It’ll be an entertaining night for sure with the Nonnas and Nonnos all in the same room. At the end of the night, you’ll have recipes to take home and full bellies from laughter and food. Call us quickly before we’re all sold out! 613-542-9323
