Check our Italo Club Events Calendar for Italian events in your community! Join us for one of our All You Can Eat Pasta Nights, Cooking with Nonna & more!

Dear community members,

It is with deep sadness that we must cancel the following events due to the COVID-19 outbreak:

All You Can Eat Pasta Night, Wednesday, March 18, 2020
Cooking with Nonna, Thursday, March 19, 2020 – BEING RESCHEDULED to May 5, 2020
Fish Friday, Friday, March 20, 2020

Cooking with Nonna attendees who have purchased a ticket for this event may choose to join us for the rescheduled date on May 5th at 5:30pm for the Lasagna class, or they may choose to be added to a priority list to be called as soon as the next Cooking with Nonna dates are released so that they may transfer their ticket to that event. Refunds will be available to those who are unable to transfer to another date.

Pre-paid tickets for the above Pasta Night and Fish Friday dates will be refunded.

The Fish Friday dinner for tonight WILL go ahead as scheduled, so if you have reserved a ticket for that event you may still come and choose to either take your meal to go or stay and dine with us.

We ask that anyone visiting our facility over the next few weeks uses the hand sanitizer stations immediately upon entering the building to ensure all measures are taken to prevent any possible spread of germs and viruses.

Thank you for your patience as we continue to monitor this situation and do our best to ensure safe practices with regard to our events. We encourage you to send us an email at hello@italo-canadian-club.com with any questions.

About the Italo-Canadian Club of Kingston

The Italo-Canadian Club is a reception, conference and banquet facility. We believe beautiful events can be accessible at any budget. That is why we remain one of the most affordable banquet halls in Kingston. Whether you are planning a small intimate affair or a large-scale celebration, we are the perfect choice for your special day. Known for amazing food, Italian hospitality, and a beautiful ballroom, we have grown since 1963. The original club building and the land we are on was purchased and built by the Italian community. To this day much of the work is done by our Italian volunteers. We remain dedicated to being a social center for Italians and Canadians.

The Nonnas are in high demand having sold out all of their shows up to June, so they have decided to add another class into the mix for those who couldn’t get into their original lasagna cooking class.

You’ll be able to watch the Nonnas work their magic in the kitchen (or in this case, in our main hall with hot plates), eat the delicious meal they make, and then take home the recipe to try it yourself.

Give us a call at (613) 542-9323 to pre-pay and reserve your spot. It’s a great date night or a friend’s night out! Tickets are non-refundable.

About the Nonnas

All of the Nonnas are Italy-born and over 75 years in age. None of them are professionally trained, but you can bet that the food they make will leave you wanting more.

“We are grandmothers, and we carry on our traditions from back home,” says Domenica Bracciodiete, a volunteer executive board member whose husband was a founding member of the Italo-Canadian Club.
